Terenní Triatlon – Summer off

Well with my shoulder injury I haven´t been swimming for ages so off-road triathlon, where swimming is not so important, was my choice number one in this triathlon season. The start of the season was very „lucky“ for me.

 Pumped up from BC single trails I was ready to kill the bike trails, yeah and I literally did. First race Xterra Zlute Lazne I had bad bike crash and couldn´t finish. It happens. Second race Xterra Decin, leading after swim in crazy flowing river going for bike crash again.

This time I thought I broke both my legs, but I didn´t and after hard push I slowly limped to the finish line. For the third time good luck? Yeah, Xterra Czech, National Championship, no crash and 2nd place in my age group.

Xterra Germany, European Championship even better, finished 3rd in my age group and I qualified  for the World champs in Hawaii, but I didn´t go this year. And last triathlon of season was off road duathlon in Kytlice where I finished 2nd overall. This triathlon season was poor, but it is great motivation for next season.
